When making turns should I be leaning in the turns or push the handlebar to the side on the direction I want to go and counterbalance the bike. I want to start off right

Hi Kent, As you get more and more comfortable on the Halfbike, with time, you'll start trusting the leaning movements and get better and better at them. Usually, as you initiate the slalom turn you should start pressing on the pedals with you whole weight, as well as pushing the handlebars. Agan, you should take the time to get more comfortable on the bike by doing slower and smoother turns :) Hope that helps

www.youtube.com/watch?v=2pHn2bzQeWA Hello Kent, Before receiving my Halfbike, I watched the official videos repeatedly. Maybe it helps stimulate motion memory. Specially if you watch and try it out, in short cycles. In the one above, you can see proficient halbikers turning. As Bo said, take your time. At first, do (very) long turns, to one and the other side, and very smooth weigth transfer/slalom. It will become natural with time. And the learning process is a lot of fun :)
