I just got a halfbike used. It's an M, and depending on when I'm measured I'm 6'2" or 6'3". I'm currently learning to ride it, but the handlebar seems just a bit too short for me to be able to stand up straight while I ride. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it actually too short for me? Would a L be better?

I guess my other question is, if the handlebar is too short for me to ride standing up straight, is it going to be horrible for me to ride a little hunched or have my legs bent a little more while I learn to ride, and then upgrade to a Halfbike 3 L when it comes out.

Hi Lexington, You shouldn't have a problem riding the Medium Halfbike. Besides, you're not far off from the height line - which is also provisional. :)

I would like to change the handlebar to a wider one. the problem is that the diameter measurement is not the ordinary one of the handlebars and also the central fixing seems particular. how can I do?

I am just starting out on a half bike 2. I am 6ft and have concluded that the handlebar is too short. I have already added the extenders on the pimp thread on. And am now waiting for some MTB handlebar ends to show up. But really I think offering wider handlebars in the future would be good. And any tutorial for changing them would be welcome.
