日本で購入しました。 ハンドルが緩んで廻ってしまうトラブルが発生しましたが、カタコトの英語と日本語とのやりとりで、なんとか部品交換を無料で行っていただき、素早く解決を得ることができました。 とても感謝しています。 今は忙しくて乗る練習ができていませんが、本格的な冬が来る前に乗りこなしたいと思っています。 I bought it in Japan. I had a problem with the handle coming loose and turning, but through fluent English and Japanese communication, I was able to get the part replaced free of charge and quickly get a solution. I appreciate it very much. I'm so busy right now that I haven't been able to practice riding, but I'd like to get good at riding before winter really arrives.

The Halfbike was the culmination of my search for the ultimate commuting machine. I have been waiting for something like a kickboard but with pedals. Something that was easy to fold up and bring onto buses and subway trains. It’s perfect for my daily commute and getting out and about on the weekend. I really enjoy riding my Halfbike. I also enjoyed the learning process. Every time I ride it I feel I slightly improve or learn something new, and it is amazing how my body and mind have adjusted to riding it. Standing up feels good. I also really enjoy the interactions with the Halfbike community on Facebook. Everyone has had great advice for riding and modifying Halfbikes.

Excellent cycle. Better than the videos or marketing. It does it all. Workout cycle, commuter vehicle, riding with the kids, out for a fang - with the wind in your hair. I use the Halfbike more than my bicycle now, did not see that coming. How is it to learn? Great, follow the instructions, trust the design, you will be hooning around before you know it. Highly recommended, 10 out of 10. So easy, when you get it.

This is the most innovative, fun but challenging piece of workout equipment I've ever owned. I'm a former cyclist and runner and had taken more to indoor and less impact but high intensity oriented cardio. I own a Versaclimber, Keiser spin bike, and stair stepper and while all are solid in their own ways, the Halfbike is the most fun and mile-for-mile similar to running but with a cycling leg burn. I ride it six days a week on a 9 mile route with challenging rolling hills and finally have a cycling/running feel and freedom without being threatened by cars and taking the impact to my ankles and knees. I couldn't recommend this bike more. I can't believe I don't see them more in the Dallas/Ft Worth area as incredible as they are. Do yourself a favor and get one (or more).

I purchased my first HB (HB2) back in Spring of 2020. As I recall I was shopping for a new bike but could not find one anywhere due to the whole covid thing. My wife (bless her) found the Halfbike website and suggested I just take a chance, which I did. Anyway, after a tough learning curve and some apprehension I mastered the riding technique and now am a lifelong HB fan. I ride for about an hour nearly every day after work when weather permits and don't do gym cardio anymore. I can feel and see the physical benefits of my riding routine. The riding sensation reminds me somewhat of skateboarding or snowboarding. My HB2 has gotten pretty battered so I upgraded to an HB3 early this year. It is a more refined product but also a bit more demanding in terms of balance due to some slight dimensional changes. Regardless, it is a fun, satisfying, and unique product. --> HB company please read this: The week point are the grips. The stock grips are not substantial enough. I sliced them off immediately and installed larger, thicker horned grips (easy and cheap to buy) and it makes all the difference in control. A premium product like HB should come with better grips. Another issue, albeit small, is the weak adhesive used to fix the cable stays to the frame. Hot weather melts it and the stays detach. They are fixed to the cable, but still. Anyway, I love my HB and I'd say it is one of there best fitness/leisure/fun purchases I've ever made.

Entertaining. It is a challenge at first then you manage it without hesitation. Not for hills thou… Or I need to really master it OR be more fit. It could come if I practice more often. But in short it is real fun. Too bad people do not enjoy learning new skills after 40. I am feeling alone with my half-bike.

Al principio fue dificil manejar, pero luego es mas facil. Tengo problemas con el estacionamiento. Es mas facil de manejar para mis hijos que para mi A mi esposa que no sabia manejar bicicleta le es mas facil que la bicicleta tradicional. A mi no me molesta las piernas, como me molesta la bicicleta tradicional

I bought my Halfbike 2 years ago. I was looking for something new and fun, that would challenge me and allow me to spend more time outdoors. The Halfbike had promised to make me feel like a child again....and it does!! I admit that I only use it on flat bicycle paths, and I don't do long distances. I am quite happy with a nice 10-12 km ride. I am glad I have taken a chance and bought the Halfbike. I did change the handlebar grips to have a more ergonomic and comfortable positioning with my wrists, and that was 100% worth it. Overall, I'm quite happy with my Halfbike!

I love the aesthetics and the design of the Halfbike. I ordered it because I thought it was a fun way to get some outdoor cardio workout. It was simple to put it together. It folds easily to put it into the car or even carry it on public transportation. It is not easy to ride, and I am not sure if I would recommend to ride it if you want to get around town. Then again I don't think that was purpose of the design anyways. It is beautiful and it is sooooo much fun to ride once you get the hang of it.

I bought my first HB (HB2 on closeout) in the spring of 2020 out of sheer curiosity, and also because there was nothing else available due to Covid. Aside form quitting smoking, it's been the best health decision I've ever made. Halfbike basics took a solid week of practice and mastery took at least two. BUT, it has been 100% worth it. I alternate 'halfbike days' and 'gym days' (with an occasional 'just go home and have cocktail days) and it is a great regimen; just so fun and addictive! The balance aspect and sensation is akin to skateboarding or snowboarding or getting sideways in a car. My legs and core are benefiting greatly. Seems like every time I hit the trails somebody stops me to ask about my HB. HB con = not good for steep grades or unimproved surfaces HB con = no place to carry things HB pro = everything else (so take a backpack and stay on the pavement) I just got my yellow HB3 last month and have been loving it with the refinements (although I must say that the factory grips are too modestly sized and should be swapped out for aftermarket ones - HB team please see photos and take note!). Anyway, I love my HB pair and am so glad I took the chance.

Im 58, fairly active. Was looking for something different than my bike. I get numbness and soreness from seats and started using an elliptical instead of Peloton. But need something for outdoors. Elliptical and standup bikes are expensive and then I stumbled onto Halfbike. Decided to give it a try after reading the reviews. Im writing this after day 2. I learned to ride straight pretty quickly, like within an hour. Im now practicing and getting down turns. Its a great bike, great way to exercise. I feel it in my legs and arms….but I feel another big benefit not discussed too much is balance. It really requires balance and helps you improve your balance. I like to ski and definitely can see how it will benefit me in that activity. I really love this little bike.

The bike was a bit easier to ride than I feared, and within an hour or practice I could get around the block without stopping. I'm thrilled by all the attention the bike gets in my town; one elderly man stood and stared at it in the bike rack for three minutes while I stared at him from across the street. I find the shifter won't stay in first gear all the time, but a small adjustment should fix that. At my present skill level, first and second gears are all the speed I can handle. The bike is everything I had hoped it would be. The red-blue color option is stunning. Thanks for an excellent product.

Amazing company and bike. Could not ask for a better performing cruising and training bike altogether.

I'm not in good shape and I have poor balance. Halfbike is difficult and takes time before even starting to feel like being able to ride more than a few feet. BUT... Every ride is easier than the previous one, and it's rewarding to see the progress. Even if it's challenging, it's still fun to ride. The feeling of gliding is like nothing else.

Sono un ultramaratoneta, a seguito di un infortunio all'anca, cercavo un mezzo che mi permettesse di allenarmi in modo alternativo alla corsa. Ho scoperto l'halfbike e ne sono rimasto colpito. Definitely a good sport to pick up.. if you are bored of doing the same activity and needed something to get back the groove and fun, this is the sport to do.. Learning is tricky but once the mind is set to positivity and young, I picked up the groove immediately.. My smiles and laughters brought about memories to my family of how jovial I was till I entered marriage and working life.. Apart from the many strenuous workout that I did before, nothing beats sweating buckets with this one.. Did i mention head turner?? This bike sure turns heads.. while some are skeptical upon the safety and first try, some just see from afar and ask about its learning curve.. For those interested, pick this up and try for yourself.. bring back those times of childhood where trying means improving and the laughters and smiles that are brought forth when having fun..
