I put two halfbikes in my shopping cart and I answered the questions differently for height, weight, and usage (for myself and my brother) -- but it looked like the exact same thing got added to the cart. Do the questions mean anything or are they just a survey for your information and actually every halfbike is exactly the same?

Hi Maria, Your height determines the size of the Halfbike (the only difference between them is the height of the handlebar). Your weight determines the stiffness of the springs used for turning. What changes with the terrain selection is the small gear sprocket, slightly helping on said terrain by changing gear ranges. For example, the flat will give you just a bit more speed on flats, while the hilly will make it a bit easier to climb hills (up to 8%). Thank you! What are the different ranges for weight? I am just wondering because my husband and I are different weights but the same height and I would like to indicate an appropriate weight that might work for both of us (or understand how different they are). Also, are the handlebars adjustable?

The handlebars are not adjustable. There are two types of springs for above and below 85kg. However, if a lighter rider gets harder springs, the Halfbike will feel more stable, but it will be very hard to turn. If a heavier rider gets softer springs, the Halfbike might seem too nimble (which might make it harder for a beginner to learn)
