I love the difficulty of the halfbike - the fitter you become the more fun you will have - it’s a great combination of cycling and running- easier than running and way more challenging than cycling I did need to get my feet conditioned to standing for extended periods during long rides but with the right shoes and positioning on the pedals it’s all good Would highly recommend to anyone who is interested in fitness and has a path or area that is mostly flat ( hills even short ones are ridiculously difficult on the halfbike)

I bought it as an alternative to running to avoid the impact of my legs on the ground. I managed to get onboard in a few minutes but I had to make lots of efforts on my upper leg and it was very tiring. Second day I found my balance and I could stay longer. I m sure that once you find the right confidence it`s a great tool for training, and not just the legs but for the whole body

I couldn`t be happier with my purchase. Great exercise, the quality of the materials is evident, and it`s exactly what I needed. Now all that`s left is to practice, practice, practice. I want to start a community here in Mexico.

Getting the hang of the Halfbike takes quite a bit of effort at first — you really have to be persistent, but once you get past that initial stage, it becomes great fun! I’m a runner, but I have to say that riding the Halfbike requires a fair amount of physical effort. Don’t be fooled into thinking it’s just a kind of bike for leisurely rides while whistling — it’s definitely a workout! This thing turns heads, so you should plan a little extra time for your sessions— you’ll end up chatting with all the curious onlookers. It’s really nice. That said, I don’t feel comfortable riding the Halfbike on wet roads, so I’ll soon be putting it away for the winter. I just hope I won’t have forgotten everything by spring! I definitely recommend it — but keep in mind that despite its cute little bike/skateboard look, it’s a real piece of sports equipment.

Super happy with my halfbike. Great purchase. It is a complete new approach to biking/running. Makes you sweat in minutes if you want to, or you can really take it easy for cruising. It’s fun and there are lots of tricks to learn. What could be improved: there are hills in my area, and going uphill can be quite tricky : might need another gear to make it easy. Problem is also wheel slipping. The bike folding screws often come loose. Maybe a more practical folding system could really be a plus. It may not be suited to some specific knee issues. I’ve had meniscus issues and sometimes just riding makes it sore. But that’s just me.

This is the best piece of exercise equipment I have ever purchased. I love it. I will never purchase a regular bike ever again. If this half bike breaks I will fix it or buy another one. Please coninue making them. NO ELECTRIC

Doctor told me I can not run anymore. I ride this bike 15 to 20 miles almost every day. Wish I had it 30 years ago.

Bueno, la verdad es que e un concepto totalmente diferente a todo lo que he tenido con ruedas, al principio es un poco difícil de manejar pero cuando le pillas el truco de mover el cuerpo en vez de intentar girar la rueda es super divertida. Lo que más se trabaja es el cuadriceps, el tren superior también se estimula un poco, la zona del hombro trabaja. En resumen es un método de desplazamiento diferente y adictivo.

I`m absolutely glad I brought myself an Halfbike. I`m not very sporty lately and get bored easily when doing sports. Halfbike changed that. It`s challenging to start, and this makes it very interesting at the beginning. Then, once you learn the basics, you start having fun cycling in a different way. So far, it`s been very entertaining, and as soon as I have some free time, I try and use it.

I purchased my half bike approximately two months ago. Prior to that most of my fitness routine consisted of running and walking. At 68 years old I and a lot of pounding on my feet I started developing neuropathy and unfortunately running became painful. When I saw an advertisement for half bike I thought this would be an excellent replacement for running. As advertised it took me a while to feel comfortable on my half bike; however, with a positive attitude and determination to make it work for me I am now getting a good workout and improving my core; including my balance that was not very good. I highly recommend that anyone who wants to purchase a half bike to give it time and stay committed. Like many of the reviews imply, it can be frustrating at times, but over time it gets better. If you are the type of person who gives up easy the half bike is not for you; however, if you are looking for a different kind of workout I highly recommend the half bike.

I got my Halfbike on the 3-7-2025, went immediatly for a small ride and what I imagined before, it really happened, some speed is your friend, look forward and move the handlebar in the oposite direction of your body, in case you`re loosing heading and balance. Next move was to change direction, first a little bit by leaning my body and then full turnaround, in a large space. Then trying the same in a smaler space, it`s more dificult but possible as I verified later on. Just keep the motion and always pedaling so you dont loose the balance. First days of Halfbike, I was always completly drained and tired, it is a real gym with wheels and let me tell you, this is not a bicycle, it`s completly different, you`re always working your full body, you dont rest even when you`re going downhill you`re working your muscles. . So after 2 months of joy, fun, hard work and 200 kms done, I really feel everyday much more in shape then the day before, and addicted to these new type of ride.

Recently bought it and was able to use it for around 9 miles, took me a little over an hour, it felt like an excellent workout, I was exhausted, I am in good physical condition, I am a runner, I was looking for something to alternate in between my running days; however, later that day my left knee was kind of hurting every time I retracted my legs, seems because it was my first day using it and learning to use it simultaneously, I did not realize how much sideways bending my knees were getting. The next day, however, the knee pain was almost 99% gone and I felt incredible, as if my tendons and joints had strengthened overnight (I used to do spinning at the gym and know the good effects of a good spinning session) so I went for a run, I ran 5 miles in 50 minutes, 30% faster than usual. It is an amazing workout machine, but one have to get to know it to prevent injures and get the most out of it, it is an acquired taste for sure! Go Halfbike! Hans Gordillo

È il mio mezzo preferito! Purtroppo uso meno la bicicletta perché anche nei giorni di allenamento lungo è perfetta.La uso tutti i giorni, mi piace molto. È geniale,si vola in equilibrio sui pedali. Anche in salita da molte soddisfazioni. Crea dipendenza.

Warum denn eigentlich nicht 😊 Mit dem @Halfbike durchs Leben – warum mein neues Hobby mehr als nur Bewegung ist Manchmal braucht es nur drei Räder, um neue Perspektiven zu entdecken. 🚲 Seit Kurzem bin ich begeisterte Halfbike-Fahrerin – und was als sportlicher Ausgleich begann, ist inzwischen zu einer echten Leidenschaft geworden. Das Halfbike ist nicht nur ein Hingucker, es fordert Balance, Koordination und Konzentration – und genau das macht es für mich so besonders. Die Verbindung von Bewegung, Freiheit und Achtsamkeit. Es ist fast wie eine kleine Meditation auf Rädern – und gleichzeitig ein rasantes Abenteuer, mittlerweile komme ich auf 26km/h, yeah! 💡 Mein Learning: Neue Wege entstehen, wenn man bereit ist, etwas Ungewohntes auszuprobieren.

It’s well built and have no complaints on its structure. However, I still don’t know how to ride it. I feel like Im going to fall every time. I use it like a scooter for now. Working on my balance and core, but my review is only for the craftsmanship. Once I learn how to ride, I will update.

Adquirí una Half Bike porque venía de hacer deporte, correr y patinar principalmente y tenía las rodillas bastante desgastadas y doloridas. Correr ya no podía y necesitaba encontrar alguna actividad que lo supliera . Con la Half Bike no es lo mismo pero si tiene muchas cosas en común . Pasada la fase de aprendizaje disfruto mucho saliendo a halfbikear tanto en modo deportivo, haciendo kilómetros rápidamente o simplemente saliendo a rodar escuchando música y dejándome llevar, en modo tranquilo . Para mi es una experiencia adictiva . Me he fijado el objetivo de , al menos , salir con la Half Bike todos los días un rato, aunque sea media hora . Me da mucha felicidad . Estoy muy contento con ella .

Have had the half bike for about 2-3 months. It take sometime to manouver especially when it comes to turns. However after a few hours of practice you can start riding without falling all the time. Whne riding it you feel you leg, back and shoulder girdle muscles engaged so yes all your body is being worked up, and on top of that it involves balancing and co-ordination. My only issue is were i live there isn`t much flat spaces to ride - i have a lot of slopes and hills, i am pretty sure that with time one can gain muscle strength to go up most hills, but this will take time. I bought the half bike since i wanted an alternative to jogging after i suffered a prolapse disc. I wanted to avoid impact on my back and the half bike fits in nicely, it works the back muscles without putting to much compressive straing on my spine, hips and knees. I wonder if future version will have braking in the posterior wheels, if at all possible, this would add better control and braking
