Wanted - Halfbike 3

Hi, I would love to acquire a Halfbike 3 but customs fees to UK put it out of my price bracket. Does anyone in the UK have an as new as possible condition one they are looking to sell?

Hi Anna there is halfbike 2 for sale on eBay £400 if interested . How much did the halfbike 3 cost in total with duty fees , I am also looking thanks Dave

Hi Dave, thanks I did see that but think it’s a bit steep for a secondhand 2. List price for a 3 from Halfbike is €600, so £550. £600 if you want anything other than black. VAT is 20% so adds another £120. Plus import taxes of about £30 I think. So total about £750. It was the VAT that did it for me unfortunately - too much of an increase. ☹️

Hi I just added one to the basket and checkout but didn’t see any vat , where does it state this please thanks

It doesn’t state it on the website - it’s payable on receipt in this country as it’s a British tax. I believe it’s payable to the courier before you can receive it. Please note, I think this is correct but I’m not an expert - worth checking yourself with DHL to be sure.

Hi Dave, I have a brand new Halfbike 3. I purchased it directly from Halfbike and still have original box and packaging. I've been out on it a few times and find that it's not a match for me. (I'm older and it doesn't agree with my knees.) It has less than 10 kilometers on it, and is in perfect condition. It's a beautiful machine. It cost me 600€, so I want to get at least 200€ from it to reduce my loss. I'd need buyer to either pick it up here or cover cost of shipment and any VAT. I'm going to list it for local pickup via eBay, but thought I'd reach out to the Halfbike Community first. Brexit complicates this a little. Let me know, and we can see what final cost would be. Hi Anna, I have a halkbike 3 Black purchased in June 2021 that I used 10 times (maximum). Where I live I will not use it much... I leave in Portugal but I'm flying to London in the beggining of September and if you are interested I could bring it with me. I could sell it for 450£ delivered in London. It is brand new!

David, this could be for you as well. I would sell it 450£ (including VAT) and you can pick it up in London.
