Well, I think I was too ambitious to assume that riding a half bike would be as easy as it was portrayed. After a couple of falls, one in which I jammed my shoulder - my stubborn “I can do this” met the sincere disappointment that at 42 I don’t bounce back from falls the way I did in my 20’s. I’m bummed. I did try for several hours on multiple occasions with bruises to show for each attempt.
