During the first learning period I felt like a child learning from scratch. This was a rejuvenating. I then realised that half bike is best intended for straight level roads. Moving in bumpy roads with cars (as I would do with a bicycle) was really frustrating. I can not understand why the brake is not connected to the rear wheel. In case of emergency while trying not to fall it is not easy to move the body back so to avoid falling forward when braking (the video demonstrating braking is not on a dangerous situation and reality is that when the brake is needed the rider may not have the luxury of leaning backwards as he may be struggling to keep his balance). After a month of daily use and lot of frustration. I realised that moving the brake to back wheel only benefit will have. I also realised that moving on upward roads is not easy at all. At some point everyone will get tired and start walking. The gears are not easy to change with any hand. It’s not positioned correctly. Generally I see half bike not as a moving machine but mostly as a leg strengthening equipment that needs easy, straight, not bumpy roads. I am not sure if I enjoy it as much. The advertising videos though look fantastic but I am not sure if they correspond to the real experience.
