I was stung by import tax in Australia so AUD $1600 total was a lot to pay. Because it is difficult to ride, I exerted too much force on the bike to keep it on track, and I'm concerned it is a bit off-tune now. So I guess it would benefit from a bike tune now, but I've already spent too much. About 3 times the price of the China equivalent - Which might not have stood up to the excessive forces exerted while learning. As an aside, I have a former injury (was paralyzed, with physical spasticity etc.) and I snapped for example a pair of rollerblades due to excessive force exerted being naturally off-balance. I thought this would be good to improve physical gate-control. But quite advanced for that purpose. I tried an on-road elliptical bike but that was too straight-forward. So: I'm unsure if a usual bike shop can service it; It was very expensive say 3 times the China version; Maybe not a strong/tough as it should be - would love a mountain-bike version; I wish I chose a lower gearing to ease the learning curve; I don't really use the quick-release frame mechanism (not nice function) but rather just twist to tighten them; The quick release can easily come unstuck, so it seems the old style would be more reliable, and what I'm effectively doing anyway - twisting to tighten.
