Anyone tried changing from the current sturmey archer X-RD4 to 8 speed X-RD8? I love my bike, riding for a couple of weeks now and would like to experiments with higher gear ratio, I got some uphill passages on my treks that give me trouble. I also dont like the shifter that is present on X-RD4. With 12 months of use, my chain is becoming loose. I loosened the bolts yet the wheen doesn't move so that I can tighten the chain. How do I do this?

Hi - I just ordered the Halfbike, and I'm so excited. There is just one little problem, the confirmation e-mail hasn't come yet, and I'm starting to get worried... I ordered my bike 1 hour ago, can anyone help, I already sent mail to the Support, just wondering if more could be done

I put two halfbikes in my shopping cart and I answered the questions differently for height, weight, and usage (for myself and my brother) -- but it looked like the exact same thing got added to the cart. Do the questions mean anything or are they just a survey for your information and actually every halfbike is exactly the same?

Hi, I am in Turkey and I am sure I will have to pay customs fees if I buy a halfbike. However, is there any way for me to pay them to you/the shipper in advance so I don't have to pay on receipt? If this is not possible would you at least be able to help me figure out how much I would owe? I went to https://www.eurosender.com/en/customs-clearance and I didn't have enough info about the shipping process to be able to figure it out. I guess I will also get a few accessories but I think I could order them separately so I'm mostly interested in the fees for the halfbike itself.

I need to replace my crankset. Anyone knows the measurement? teeth, how many mm, etc.. is there an alternative to the one that comes with it? (Lasco) Does Halfbike sells it?
